Today Sony and the National Football League(NFL) strike a deal where Sony will not only be the official headphones of the NFL but also its official technology partner which will have them cover various areas in the NFL infrastructure.
For starters with them being the official headphones for the NFL, you will see NFL players most likely rocking Sony’s headphones such as the flagship XM5 headphones or the truly wireless and awesome XM5 earbuds. You might see some speakers such as the recent ULT FIELD 7 or ULT FIELD 1 booming on the sidelines while they run up and down the field.
Sony has some of the best cameras for photography and that means they will be utilizing their imaging hardware to capture some of the most intense shots on and off the field. Sony cameras are already used by the NFL whether its in their NFL Network studios or productions on some shows.
We will also see some remarkable tech from Hawk-Eye Innovations looking to bring new ways to support on-field and sideline officiating and coaching including a new headset for the coaches starting 2025. Beyond Sports will look to bring in new younger NFL fans with various interactions such as games or shows.
