Ubisoft is stepping into the next stretch of the year with a broad Assassin’s Creed status update—one that both looks forward to what’s in development and checks in on the present with Assassin’s Creed Shadows hitting a major milestone.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Turns One, Anniversary Livestream Set

Ubisoft confirms Assassin’s Creed Shadows is about to turn one, and the team is using that moment to spotlight how the game has evolved since launch. The studio points directly to player feedback as a major driver behind new features and updates, including recent parkour refinements shaped through ongoing sessions with highly engaged players and creators.

To celebrate, an anniversary livestream is scheduled for March 20 at 10AM PT / 1PM ET, with a focus on the latest update. Ubisoft also teases possible Parkour Challenge winner reveals, plus drops and giveaways during the stream.

Shadows Enters Its “Final Phase of Support”

At the same time, Ubisoft says Shadows is moving into its final phase of support. Translation: updates will continue, but they’ll be smaller and less frequent—though the team still hints at a few surprises—while more development energy shifts toward what’s next for the franchise.
