Overwatch has a new collab with Nerf, yes, Nerf. Everybody knows Nerf as toy company and even if you never owned a Nerf toy you know the fun that comes with playing with Nerf, and from August 5th to August 18th, Overwatch has a super collab project with Nerf that includes limited edition skins and some Nerf toys and Nerf weapons coming soon.
Lemme tell you what this collab has going on. Each character in the game has access to a specifically designed Nerf weapon curated just for them and their play style.
You’ll get to play with Genji’s Slingerang + Power Blast Bat. You have Baptiste’s Loadout Galactic Commander. Hanzo’s Big Bad Bow, Mei’s Super Soaker XP100, Soldier: 76’s N Series Pinpoint, and Cassidy’s Maverick + Vortex Football + his new NERF Legendary Skin.

The big question I know you’ll have is whether or not the Nerf weapons in game will be actual physical Nerf weapons and the answer right now is. Soon. They are not available in the US as of yet but you can expect them in the near future. The “Galactic Commander” Nerf rifle will most likely be the first of the new Nerf weapons available. I was able to get my hands on it and I can tell you in no uncertain terms that this Nerf weapon is beyond cool will bring hours of fun as is always expected with Nerf.
