XGIMI Home Theater Updates: Why We’re Excited

As I mentioned before, we’ve had the opportunity to test XGIMI’s projectors in the past and we’ve found them to be one of the best values out there for both home theaters and portable projectors. Today’s updates give us a glimpse into what XGIMI has been cooking up over the last year and we’re ready for an upgrade! The biggest updates here come in the entry-level options – the MoGo 3 Pro and Elfin Flip. Both not only have seriously competitive pricing, $449 and $399 respectively, but they also fix one of my biggest gripes with last year’s Horizon Ultra – Netflix is now natively supported.

On the higher end of the spectrum sits the Aura 2 and Horizon S Series models. Both promise to elevate your home theater experience with both brighter and longer-lasting lamps and software enhancements that make setting up a breeze – even if you don’t have bare walls or a screen. These make the cost of ownership a no-brainer as they offer something that large panel displays can’t – versatility.

Lastly, XGIMI is bringing GoogleTV to two other portable projectors – the MoGo 2 Plus and the new Halo+ (New). Naming conventions aside, these bring the benefits of the updated operating system changes in the MoGo 3 Pro and Elfin Flip to some of the older hardware to make the cost of entry even more accessible.

Wrapping Up – Availability and Pricing

I can’t stress enough how wild it is to be able to bring in high-end home theater quality in not only affordable but stylish packages. One of the biggest draws for me is the smart, user-friendly design found across the XGIMI product line and the latest line of home and portable projectors keeps things looking fresh and sleek. If you’re looking to upgrade your home theater setup or simply are looking to dip your toes into the world of projectors, these XGIMI are worth a second look. Links, availability, and pricing below:
