Speck is another brand that I thoroughly enjoy their cases and have had good experiences with. I’ve used their cases on many of my previous phones and have never had any issues with them. For the Samsung Galaxy S24+, Speck only makes three cases, but we’ll be looking at the two different Presidio variations, the Presidio Perfect-Clear and the Presidio Lux Glitter.
Presidio Perfect-Clear Case for the Galaxy S24+
The Presidio Perfect-Clear case is Speck’s clearest case and perfect for those who want to show off their new Glaaxy S24+, especially if they got it in a fancy color. What I like about Speck’s take on the clear case is that these are dual-layer cases. The back is a hard plastic while the border feels a lot more flexible with extra impact absorption. The case is also fairly slim but still has raised bezels and edges for screen protection.
This case is made of 50% recycled plastics and features Microban® antimicrobial protection. Also, there is supposedly a clear coating on the case that prevents yellowing.?Another thing I worry about is the possibility of scratches, as many of these clear plastic cases also seem to scratch easily. Only time will tell if either of these claims are true or not.
Presidio Lux Glitter Case for the Galaxy S24+
Next up is the Presidio Lux Glitter case which is very similar to the Presidio Perfect-Clear case. In fact, it’s probably the same case but has fade-resistant glitter crystals embedded in the material. It too is a dual-layer case featuring clear impact technology and Microban® antimicrobial product protection.
The case is also slim, and should also resist yellowing. The Presidio Lux Glitter case has a bit more flare to it when compared to the Presidio Perfect-Clear and does add some shine and glitz to any of the Galaxy S24+ factory colors.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Speck usually makes really good clear cases and these two new Presidio Perfect-Clear and Lux Glitter cases for the Galaxy S24+ are no exception. Both cases fit really well on the Galaxy S24+ and really help show off the phone’s special colors. The Lux Glitter adds a bit of flair, while the Perfect-Clear is great for those who want “invisible” protection.
