PlayStation 5 will launch November 12th starting at $399.99 for Digital version, and $499.99 Disc version. Preorders will begin as early as tomorrow at “selected retails“. Here are some heavy hitting highlights from the event stream.
Final Fantasy XVI Awakening | Out of Nowhere Exclusive
Sony has opened the show with a surprise exclusive: Final Fantasy XVI Awakening. In the trailer, its showcased some in-game cutscenes with gameplay against numerous surprising beast such as a Malboro.
Marvel’s Splider-Man: Miles Morales | Exclusive
Here we see Miles Morales walking with his best friend to meet with his mother who is now a politician. Soon after the trailer cuts to some gameplay showing off Miles new abilities, changing up the combat loop from Marvel’s Spider-Man. We do see some decent RayTracing as well.
Hogwarts Legacy
Years after the leaked video of an open-world Harry Potter game, we finally get a decent trailer showcasing some in-game PS5 footage of what to expect. It looks absolutely amazing, can not wait to see more of this.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
More Call of Duty, more gameplay footage, awesome looking campaign. Enough said.
Resident Evil 8: Villiage
A second trailer diving deeper into what’s going on in RE8; why is Chris Redfield the villain? And who is the werewolf? I need to know.

So….an upgrade to PSN Plus, Collections – looks like your entire PS4 Library will come to the PS5….but it wasn’t clear whether or not there’s extra cost. I hope not.
God of War Ragnarok 2021
And how else to end the stream than to reveal that God of-FREAKIN’-War 5 is in development! I’m guessing the subtitle is Ragnarok. And it’s a 2021 release?! By the Allfather, I NEED!
