Flowers are blooming and people are sneezing, good time to stay inside and get some gaming in. PlayStation knows just how to help us out with this month’s list of games. The month of April brings us only two games and a few extras for already released games. Those games are The Surge and Conan Exiles, along with extras for Fortnite and H1Z1. Just like last month no more listings for the PS3 and the PS Vita. I think I am more excited about Conan Exiles this month than I am about The Surge. I might still check The Surge out, but Conan just speaks to me. These games will be available for download today in the PlayStation Store.
The Surge:
The Surge is a sci-fi based fighting game that allows the player to improve armor with each fight. The catch to that battle is if you lose you also lose whatever armor you have acquired from previous battles. If you are the type of gamer that wants to relax and just play a game to enjoy the time spent playing The Surge is not that game and may not be for you. If you are looking for a high-pressured game that you can put your try hard hat on and keep it on, the Surge is the game for you. The graphics in this game look amazing and the style of fighting is intense and demands your full attention. Your character depends on that intensity for him to advance in battles while maintaining his armor collected. The xo-skeleton armor and weapons does make it intriguing to check out, even if you just play once to experience that battle.
Conan Exiles:
Conan Exiles is not what I thought it would be from watching some gameplay, that is only because I had an idea of you would go through as Conan himself. Never the less that is not the case, Conan saves you and you become a barbarian yourself. Honestly is not that bad but Conan back in 80’s, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger was an iconic movie of my childhood. Having the ability to play as him would have been extra cool. Playing as a character is still just as cool as surely worth checking out. You get to design your character, so if you were a fan of Red Sonia from back in the 80’s you can create a female character to have similar characteristics. The game gives you complete control over extreme details such as bust size and other private areas. Create away I say, just keep classy folks, LOL.
