If you’re reading this, that means you’re looking for some quality iPhone 5S cases for your newly purchases phone. The good news for you is that there are so many iPhone 5/5S cases to choose from in every color, type, and style. The bad news is that there are so many to choose from! It makes choosing the perfect iPhone case a bit difficult, but my advice would be, why just limit yourself to one? Design
I’ve seen wallet cases before in the past and for the most part, they are usually all the same or some variation of the same design. That means it’s hard to really get excited about wallet cases unless you really like wallet cases or it entails some design element that is completely different from the rest. At first, the TAVIK Fletch wallet case may seem like just an ordinary wallet case, but it isn’t. It’s better.
The TAVIK Fletch is actually two cases in one. At first glance, it looks like a typical wallet case. It has a hard plastic back with genuine leather covering and attached to a leather cover. The cover acts as the wallet portion and has 3 card slots built in. The cover is held shut with an elastic strap similar to what DODOcase does with their wallet case. The leather case I got was the tan colored one. The leather is very good quality and because it is genuine leather, it will look better with age once it has worn in more.
The inside of the case is very soft and almost felt like. That means that it will not scratch up your screen when covered.
Now, here comes the part that makes the TAVIK Fletch different from every other wallet case out there. The actual case portion that the iPhone 5/5S sits in is detachable. That’s right, you can use this as a standalone case where it converts from a wallet case to a regular slim-fit case. This portion of the case is made out of what TAVIK calls Plexitonium, which is some kind of polycarbonate hybrid. The case seems very strong and is coated in a soft rubberized coating.
Final Thoughts
I’m not one to really use wallet cases on a daily bases, but they do come in handy at times when you only need to carry a few cards and some cash and you’re going somewhere where you don’t need to be looking at your phone every 5 minutes. However they aren’t too practical in the real world, especially if you’re a heavy phone user. Opening and closing the flap can be a hassle and who wants to deal with that constantly? That’s why, the TAVIK Fletch is the perfect wallet case for everyone. You can use it as a wallet case when you need, and when you don’t need, just detach the inner hard shell case from the wallet portion and you got yourself a slim-fit case that will protect your iPhone 5/5S like any other case of its type. It really is a versatile system that is well made and looks great.
