This past weekend, Insta360 which became known for its 360 cameras and has since gone on to dominate other areas such as the action camera space has opened a flagship store in the U.S. But not just anywhere in the U.S. but in New York City right in the heart of Times Square.

They started off with a ribbon cutting with popular Filmmaker/YouTuber Casey Neistat amongst others and which you can enter inside the store and see the various products from Insta360.
There was their newest ones like the Insta360 X6, Luna Series gimbal cameras, Go Ultras with a Hello Kitty edition alongside them, Flow 2 Series, Mic Pro, Link 2 Pro webcams, and Ace Pro 2 in various configurations. Every device you can get a hold of and try out for yourself.

If you have a chance to stop by go and check out the newspaper-style Photo Booth which was connected to a Insta360 X6 camera and print out your own NYC newspaper.

Also on deck was creators Jesse Wellens and Jeana Smith of PrankvsPrank acting as store manager for a couple hours. 100 Riders rocking Insta360’s signature yellow were there for the ribbon cutting and then went cycling thru Central Park and DUMBO.

By launching a store right in Insta360 it totally increases the chances of someone checking out a Insta360 and more likely the possiblity of buying on if they were already on the fence. It will be interesting to see how the flagship store goes but with not much competition from other brands like DJI which has a smaller one blocks over I can see it being a win.
