Sodacase (4)
As I have seen in the past custom cases or custom skins have not usually been of the highest grade of quality or have a cheapened feel to them. I ran into Sodacase at CE Week last month and saw all the custom cases either made by them or fellow bloggers. I was actually blown away by the quality of the cases. There felt there was care put into these cases and I was saddened I missed an opportunity to create one. Luckily I was able to link up with Sodacase afterwards and get another chance.

You have the option of either selecting one of their premade cases or go ahead and boot up their customization application where you can range from doing one image to up to 32. I close the latter and went all out.

When adding the images you have the option of uploading your own pictures or syncing up your Facebook and/or Instagram. I used strictly IG as it seemed to load faster for me and that’s where all my cool shots are anyway. Once photos are added you can stretch them out and it will crop. Maybe there is something you wanted to focus in more on perhaps.

So once I went through my creation there was the daunting task of the waiting game. Overall it took 8 days from when it was put in to be shipped. Took it out the box and better than I expected. Great detail and case feels scratch proof. The coolest thing besides the custom case is the microfiber cloth alongside it. Use it to clean your screen, case or better yet use it as the ultimate glasses cleaner.

As far as durability the case has dropped a couple times without any damage to the screen or even case itself. I’m not saying it will protect you from the craziest of falls so don’t go doing any drop tests anytime soon.

Right now cases are available for the iPhone 4, 4S, 5, Samsung Galaxy S2, S3, S4 (bumper) and the Samsung Galaxy Note II. It would be cool to see them add HTC One to the mix of cases they have in their lineup but one can dream right.

Seeing as I’m a sneakerhead I was pleased with the way this case came out and able to showcase my collection of kicks. If you’re into customization and using your own photos definitely give Sodacase a look.
Collection cases range from 24.99 to $29.99 while Custom Sodacases are from $34.99-$39.99.
