If you’re looking for an epic RPG to give as a gift, look no further than Bethesda’s newest game, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It is a massive game of epic proportions that includes hundreds of hours worth of gameplay. It’s not a game for the casual gamer and you really need to be a hardcore gamer to really enjoy it due to the nature and scope of the game, but right now, it’s considered to be the best in its genre. If you’re a fan of Bethesda games, then you know how intricate and addictive these games can be when it comes to wanting to do everything possible in it.

Story:

The Empire of Tamriel is on the edge. The High King of Skyrim has been murdered.

Alliances form as claims to the throne are made. In the midst of this conflict, a far more dangerous, ancient evil is awakened. Dragons, long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls, have returned to Tamriel.

The future of Skyrim, even the Empire itself, hangs in the balance as they wait for the prophesized Dragonborn to come; a hero born with the power of The Voice, and the only one who can stand amongst the dragons.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. It is selling on all platforms for $59.99 although  I’m sure you’ll be able to find it on sale this holiday.
