On March 16, 2026, the company announced the Instax Mini 13, a successor to the popular Mini 12 that leans into a playful, “sculpted” aesthetic while adding some much-requested functionality. The biggest of these is the introduction of dual self-times that allow for a 2-second or 10-second delay, giving the photographer a chance to join the frame.
The pairing of the lens control mechanism with parallax correction is sure to be a hit among Mini users, as it will keep things properly in frame when shooting up close. Keeping the main functions, powering on/off, and engaging close-up mode, on the lens will also allow the photographer to keep their eye on the scene instead of hunting buttons on a camera.

Fujifilm is also releasing a new app and a Pastel Galaxy version of the Instax Mini instant film to complement the new Mini 13. The app is designed for Instax users to digitally scan, catalog, and organize their photos in one place. Best of all, the app can be used with any Instax camera, film, or printer they might already use.
