Peak Design Launches World’s First Fair Trade Certified® Cases for iPhone 17

Durability upgrades, improved functionality, new colors and industry-first certification set a new standard in mobile cases

San Francisco, CA (September 9, 2025) – Peak Design, the global leader in mobile accessories and carry solutions, proudly announces its expanded lineup of Everyday and GNAR cases designed for the iPhone 17 family. With this release, Peak Design becomes the first brand in the industry to offer Fair Trade Certified® phone cases, ensuring that every purchase helps support fair wages and safer working conditions for the people who make them.

Within Peak Design’s mission is a clear directive: Succeed at the expense of nobody. Securing factory Fair Trade certification on behalf of Supercase, Peak Design’s case manufacturing partner, helps ensure that all Everyday and GNAR cases from iPhone 17 forward are produced to the highest social and environmental standards–a list of over one hundred exacting criteria. While Supercase is responsible for maintaining its Fair Trade status, Peak Design contributes a 1% premium on each product manufactured in the Nancun, China, factory. Supervised by Fair Trade Certified® and Peak Design, these contributions are directed to a worker-controlled fund, which allows factory employees to invest in causes and quality-of-life improvements.

“Every year, we ask ourselves how to make our Mobile Ecosystem better, tougher, and more meaningful,” said Peak Design CEO/Founder Peter Dering. “The launch of Peak Design’s iPhone 17 cases is about more than just new features and colors, it is about raising the bar on how gear should be made. Achieving Fair Trade certification is a milestone that reflects our ongoing commitment to both product excellence and social responsibility.”

In addition to Fair Trade certification, Peak Design’s Red Dot award-winning case lineup returns for iPhone 17 with upgraded durability, an improved user experience, and fresh colorways. Each design works seamlessly with Peak Design’s fast, secure SlimLink™ mounting technology and its ecosystem of purpose-built accessories and mounts.

The Everyday Case now features enhanced TPU bumper construction for lasting protection and a new Camera Control Button that delivers a fully responsive way for capturing photos and video on the go. Redesigned finger loops on Everyday Loop Cases—Peak Design’s forward-thinking solution to bulky case grips—deploy faster and fit a wider range of hand sizes for greater comfort. Formerly made with Versa Shell™ recycled nylon, Everyday Loop Cases are now offered exclusively in elegant, weatherproof, abrasion-resistant Clarino™ vegan leather in tan or black.

Introduced in spring of 2025, Peak Design’s slim (3.2 mm thick) yet rugged GNAR Case is also available for iPhone 17 but in two new bold colorways: Ibis (orange) and Kelp (green). Engineered for life in the dirt but designed without the bulk, the GNAR Case is perfect for motorsports enthusiasts, adventure junkies or anyone who wants extra protection.

The iPhone 17 Everyday Case (MSRP:$49.95), Everyday Loop Case (MSRP: $59.95), and GNAR Case (MSRP: $59.95) will be available for purchase on www.peakdesign.com beginning September 9, 2025.
