Desktop-grade power in a travel-ready footprint
Anker’s Nano Charging Station (7-in-1, 100W) is designed for people who carry multiple devices and want one single, reliable solution to power them all. Roughly the size of a deck of cards, it manages to pack three AC outlets, three USB-C ports, and a USB-A port into a clean, compact chassis. The build is solid. Smooth matte housing with a soft-touch finish. The included two retractable USB-C cables are built into the unit and extend roughly 2.3 feet. They retract with a quick pull and sit flush when not in use—which solidifies the compact minimalist design, just the way I like it.
An Absolute Beast
Power delivery is where it earns the 100W label. One USB-C port can push up to 100W solo — enough to charge a 14-inch or even 16-inch MacBook Pro at full speed. Two USB-C ports together deliver 65W and 30W respectively, and the third leans into lower-wattage accessories. I tested it with a ROG Ally X, an iPad, and a Galaxy S24 Ultra all at once — no thermal issues, no dropped speeds. The three AC outlets are positioned on the back of the unit, meaning you can use it like a travel power strip.

The standout feature is the built-in digital display. It reads out total wattage and live breakdowns per port. During use, I watched the MacBook Pro pull around 96W while the phone pulled 18W. It gives you awareness. And for people juggling gear, that visibility is underrated. Cooling is handled internally, with temp sensors that keep the unit from getting hot. Under full load, it was warm, not hot. Anker claims 300J surge protection, which adds some confidence when using it with higher-end hardware.
A Power Hub for the Enthusiast
In practice, the Nano Charging Station replaced two items in my tech bag: my wall adapter and my power strip. It now lives on my desk and goes in my suitcase. It charges everything I need — ROG Ally X, Steam Deck, laptop, phone, earbuds, smartwatch — all without clutter. The built-in cables will especially be useful in hotel rooms for those that travel often, where outlets are often awkward or far.
Still, there are some drawbacks. The unit is compact, but it’s not light. The dense build adds weight in a carry-on. The retractable cables are convenient, but fixed length. If your device’s port is on the wrong side, you’ll need to rotate or shift to make it work. Also, no wireless charging — which would’ve made it a complete daily dock for phones. The USB-A port is functional but underpowered. It’s better suited for earbuds or accessories rather than anything power hungry.

REVIEW SCORE: 9/10
A reliable 7-in-1 power hub with thoughtful features, real fast charging, and excellent build quality. Built for pros who travel, work remote, or live life with more than one device. This is the best solution for gamers who play on the go as well and one I’ve been using religiously with my ROG Ally X while grinding Destiny 2 on the go.
