ROKFORM is not a new brand, but it is here for us. They’ve been around since 2010 and mainly focus on ultra-protective cases and accessories that can be used anywhere. Their signature case is just called the Magnetic Rugged Case and its claim to fame is the patented RokLock Technology which we’ll explain more about later. For this review, we are looking at the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus version of this case along with the optional Magnetic Sport Ring with Stand and the Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand.
ROKFORM Magnetic Rugged Case
The ROKFORM Magnetic Rugged Case is the one and only case they make for the Galaxy S24 Plus. The case is made of TPU durable polycarbonate and TPU padded protection which provides protection for almost every part of your phone. It can protect your device up to a 6ft drop. The case also includes a RokLock for attaching optional mounts as well as 3 powerful N52 Neodymium magnets for additional accessories. The raised borders also help with screen protection and also don’t interfere with screen protectors. I never took out the RokLock Plug on the case since there was no reason to remove it.
In terms of looks, the case only comes in black. The rear of the case has a carbon fiber weave look to it and it certainly does look rugged. The case is 14mm thick, 82.2mm wide, and 165.2mm tall. For the most part, it’s comfortable to hold with its angled corners and doesn’t feel too bulky.
ROKFORM Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand
The ROKFORM Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand is a multipurpose magnetic charger that attaches to the ROKFORM Magnetic Rugged Case. With the stand attached, you’re able to attach a charging cable to it to charge your phone. Without the cable, you can use it as a stand. in either landscape or portrait mode. You can also use it as a mount attached to the top of your monitor or laptop so you can use your phone for video calls.
The charging stand provides up to 7.5W of power while the MAGMAX Magnets keep a steady connection with the case. The charging stand is also quite slim and wouldn’t look out of place being permanently attached to your phone.
ROKFORM Magnetic Sport Ring with Stand
The ROKFORM Magnetic Sport Ring is a MagSafe-compatible accessory for your ROKFORM Magnetic Rugged Case. It provides you with a secure holding point on the back of your phone. It can also be used as a stand. The hold is very strong so you won’t have to worry about the ring falling off unexpectedly. You can also rotate it for left and right-hand use.
FINAL THOUGHTS
ROKFORM, even though they technically only have one style of case available for each phone, has a truly special case. The ROKFORM Magnetic Rugged Case is so versatile with its various attachments available thanks to the ROKLOCK Twist Lock mechanism and the MagSafe compatible magnets that you may not need another case again. The case itself is very rugged and looks like it should stand up to most abuse while the optional accessories offer so much more. These are accessories that will actually be used and not just gimmicks.
So with that said, you can’t go wrong with ROKFORM. Its versatility is unmatched and is the perfect case for an active lifestyle. This case is available for the entire Galaxy S24 lineup.
