Smartish is a brand that has been around since 2009. Based in Austin, TX, they’ve been designing cases for the iPhone for over a decade and have since expanded to Samsung phones. Their latest is the Wallet Slayer Vol. 1 for Samsung’s latest Galaxy S24 Ultra, featuring an integrated card holder on the back that can hold up to three cards and some cash.
The Smartish Wallet Slayer Vol.1 case is made of an ultra-light, durable thermoplastic polyurethane. It’s smooth to the touch and very comfortable to hold thanks to the rounded edges. It’s also quite protective and features air pocket corners for extra shock protection. What sets this case apart from others is its built-in wallet that holds up to three cards and some cash. Cards stay secure thanks to a built-in spring mechanism and cards are also easily accessed by way of a thumb slot to push them out.
While the case does only come in black, you can get different designs printed on the back of them. There are three designs you can choose from or you can even create a personalized design using their Design Studio. The default designs look pretty good though and I chose the Spaced Out design.
For the most part, the Smartish Wallet Slayer Vol.1 case is great for those who need a built-in wallet. However, if you make use of wireless charging, you’ll need to take the case off each time you want to charge wirelessly. Aside from that, it’s got great protection for the whole phone, including the screen and camera.
