A new name to make it here on the site is Bellroy, an Australian-based brand that uses materials based on a balance of functionality, durability, and the ability to age gracefully. They use fabrics made from recycled and plant-derived materials as well as leathers with the least environmental impact. We’ll be specifically looking at their Bellroy Leather Case for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which is the only case they make for this phone, but it’s surprisingly good and comes in three different colors.
What really stood out about the Bellroy Leather Case for the Galaxy S24 Ultra was just how thin this case is. It’s a form-fitting case that adds barely any added girth to the phone. It’s made from premium eco-tanned leather and durable flex polymer, with a polyester microfiber lining. It even has aluminum button covers for that extra touch of luxury. Not only that, it’s an official, Designed for Samsung product, which I didn’t even know was a thing.
Most of the case is covered in leather, aside from the top and bottom of the case which is just the polymer that is color-matched to the color of the leather. On the back near the bottom is stamped with the Bellroy logo and the overall quality of the leather feels really good. It even has that natural leather smell. What I love about the case though is that the back only has openings for the camera lenses and flash. This is similar to what Samsung does with their official cases. I love this look and it makes the case look as if this is how the phone comes. It’s a great way to switch up the whole look of the Galaxy S24 Ultra as if it’s a completely different phone.
I’m also a huge fan of the microfiber insert on the inside which gives the Galaxy S24 Ultra something soft to rest on. The Bellroy Leather Case also feels great in your hands. It’s comfortable thanks to how thin it is and the texture of the leather adds a bit of grip.
I will say, that overall, this is a really handsome case and one that gives the phone an aura of sophistication and class. This is definitely a case I’ll be using more of, especially when I’m out at nicer places.
