Back in March, I gave HyperX’s Cloud Mix an 8.5/10 due to its excellent sound quality, effective TSW Dual Channel drivers and intuitive app solution. It is their top-end choice for gamers looking to have that flexibility. CIRRO Buds Pro may not match that level of caliber, but with its ease-of-use design approach, CIRRO Buds Pro makes a captivating choice for consumers who just wants that plug and play element coupled with great sound design.

Traditionally Easy

The HyperX CIRRO Buds Pro offer a straightforward user experience, ensuring hassle-free connectivity and functionality. Pairing these earbuds with your device is a breeze, allowing you to effortlessly immerse yourself in your favorite audio and gaming content. I was impressed with how fast it showed up to pair on my CLX Custom PC’s Bluetooth option. The traditional yet comfortable design of the earbuds, coupled with the semi-translucent charging case, adds a touch of uniqueness to their overall aesthetic. It’s a visually standard design that doesn’t really do much to stand out compared to other options. While the HyperX CIRRO Buds Pro excel in ease of use, it’s important to note that they lack dual channel connectivity. This might disappoint users who prefer to connect to multiple devices. However, gaming enthusiasts will appreciate the low latency gaming mode, which minimizes audio delay and ensures an immersive gaming experience. Additionally, the generous battery life of up to 35 hours of wireless gaming per charge ensures that these earbuds can accompany you through extended gaming sessions without interruption.

The inclusion of active noise cancellation in the HyperX CIRRO Buds Pro enhances your listening experience by reducing external distractions. Whether you’re commuting in a noisy environment or looking to focus on intricate audio details, the noise-cancelling feature provides the necessary isolation to immerse yourself in your chosen content. This is particularly valuable for those who rely on precise noise cues during gaming such as listening for directional noises or footsteps – can also be useful for studio engineers needing to find those pop sounds during mastering.

One area where the HyperX CIRRO Buds Pro could benefit from improvement is in their EQ adjustment capabilities. Currently, there is no dedicated app solution to fine-tune the sound profile according to individual preferences. However, it’s worth noting that the out-of-the-box sound quality of these earbuds is excellent. While customization options are limited, the default audio profile strikes a pleasing balance of crisp highs, rich mids, and powerful lows.

Fine Tuned

It’s easy to tell that the HyperX CIRRO Buds Pro is specifically target consumers who prioritize an effortless and convenient audio experience. With a focus on “connect and play,” these earbuds are designed to seamlessly integrate into your daily routine. Whether you’re a tech-savvy individual or someone who prefers simplicity, the user-friendly nature of these earbuds ensures that you can enjoy your audio content without unnecessary complications. The overall design of the HyperX CIRRO Buds Pro is minimalistic, but it doesn’t compromise on durability. These earbuds are built to withstand the rigors of daily use, making them suitable for various activities, including workouts or outdoor adventures.

REVIEW SCORE: 7/10

HyperX CIRRO Buds Pro offer a seamlessly comfortable experience with notable features. Their ease of use, distinctive design, low latency gaming mode, and extended battery life make them an enticing choice for gamers seeking an immersive audio experience. The active noise cancellation feature adds an extra layer of precision, enhancing your ability to focus on audio cues. While the lack of an app solution for EQ adjustments and dual channel option may be a drawback for some users, the default sound profile offers excellent audio quality. The HyperX CIRRO Buds Pro successfully cater to consumers seeking simplicity and ease of use without compromising on durability and sound performance.
