If you’re a fan of the selfie, the Nova series from Huawei should be high on your list of favourite phones. These phones are specially designed for the selfie connoisseur, with some of the best selfie camera technology on the market. Earlier this year, Huawei launched the latest phone in its Nova series, the Huawei Nova 10. The question is, does it live up to the hype of its previous iterations, and continue flying the flag for selfie lovers everywhere? That’s what we’re here to find out as we look at everything you need to know about the Huawei Nova 10.

As we’ve hyped it up so much in our intro, it seems right to start with the camera technology that this phone is packing. On the back of the phone, the Nova 10 has a triple camera setup, with a 50 MP wide lens, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP depth of field lens. While it’s not exactly revolutionary, this triple camera setup is on the better end of setups you’d expect to see on a flagship phone and better than phones such as the Huawei View 10, so it definitely gets some points from us. The design of the back camera is stunning; looking its best in the silver design, as it’s trimmed with a metallic gold design that really pops. On the front of the phone, we have arguably the best selfie camera on the market. The Nova 10 has a whopping 60 MP, f/2.4 ultrawide lens that’s capable of shooting 4K video at 30FPS! That’s better than a lot of back camera setups on modern phones! There’s no doubt about it; this is the phone that every selfie fan should be queuing up to buy.

The phone’s design also makes it stand out from the crowd, as we think it’s one of the best-looking phones available at the moment. We’ve already mentioned how the design on the back of the phone makes the camera setup pop, but the rest of the phone looks just as fabulous. It comes in a choice of four colours; silver (our favourite), black, purple, and green. Part of what makes the phone look so nice is its stunning 6.67-inch display. The curved side edges add a lot to the aesthetics and also provide a seamless viewing experience. The screen has a single-hole punch, so only a small part of the screen is taken up by that magnificent selfie camera. The display itself is a 1080 x 2400 OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, so everything on this phone will look super smooth.

As we move to the inside of the phone, we can see there’s plenty of hardware to run even the most intense apps. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 4G processor with an octa-core chipset. On top of that, it also contains 8GB of RAM and an Adreno 642L GPU, so gaming on this phone won’t be a problem. Even the simplest games these days require solid hardware to run well, and the power of this phone combined with its high refresh rate will make anything look smooth; whether it’s debris from explosions in action games, detailed surroundings in driving games, or fantastic animations from online slot games, this phone can handle it. There are hundreds of online slots that offer stunning designs and animations, such as Golden Goddess, Triple Diamond, and 50 Lions, just to name a few. When playing real money online slots in the UK or anywhere in the world, it’s important to read reviews from trusted casino experts. No matter what games you like to play, the Huawei Nova 10 can handle it.

While Huawei Nova phones may be best known for their selfie technology, they don’t skimp on other important areas, such as the chipset, the memory, or the display. As well as making the phone one of the best they’ve made functionally, they’ve made it look fantastic, and it will certainly be the envy of many people with less aesthetically pleasing phones.
