Playstation gamers have a lot to celebrate today. After months of speculation, rumors, Cory Barlog leaving social media and then coming back very randomly, Team Blue finally gets what they’ve wanted all year. A release date for God of War: Ragnarok and it’s coming this November, 11-9-2022 to be exact.

Announced officially on Playstation’s Twitter page to the surprise of everyone (The GSG gang included) was the confirmation we needed just to make sure that this wasn’t just another GoW: Ragnarok rumor that amounted to much ado about nothing. Nope, it’s the real deal.
Aside from just announcing the release date of the latest and possibly last installment of God of War. Sony and Santa Monica announced the collectors edition game for the collectors out there. It remains to be seen if we get a collectors edition PS5 or God of War: Ragnarok plates. If all things continue as they should with a God of War release then there’s no doubt we’ll get some GoW controllers and a PS5.
All things considered, It’s a great day for God of War fans, Playstation faithful and gamers overall. I imagine it will be a crazy day today with this announcement.
