A headphone brand that has held the test of time has to be V-MODA. They have always had a nice set of premium musical cans and recently they have been creating special editions of their ever popular Crossfade 2 Wireless. These range from a Susan G. Komen pair, Jimi Hendrix, and then we have the Rolling Stones edition. It’s been a while since I put on a pair of Crossfade 2 Wireless, but I can see why I loved them so much.
One thing you can always count on with V-MODA is the craftsmanship they bring to your headphones. Like usual on their Crossfade 2 Wireless you are getting that CliqFold design that allows you to fold and store these with ease. A SteelFlex headband which is breathable and bends for max comfort.
For the Rolling Stones edition of these Crossfade 2 Wireless, V-MODA created not one but three different designs for you to choose from. These range from “Classic Licks” with the iconic tongue logo, “No Filter” which is a slightly design version of the tongue logo, and then there is “Tattoo You”. These were provided to us by V-MODA, and they feature some lovely colorful artwork that was created from a show they did in San Francisco.
Besides the artwork you are essentially getting the same Crossfade 2 Wireless model. Same great audio experience, impressive battery life, and durability. They still come with a case and wires. I would of listened to see the customization extend to the casing perhaps. It does also unfortunately still use a MicroUSB to charge as well.
These are a stellar pair of headphones for the music listener and a fan of the Rolling Stones. They retail for $279.99 on their website.
