Samsung Galaxy A-Series

The push for 5G means carriers here need to start having more options that don’t cost over $800 for a good 5G phone. While there are some choices out there for you, you’re about to get a whole lot more thanks to Samsung and their new 2021 line up of Galaxy A-series smartphones. These aren’t just your usual mid-range and entry level phones either as the new A-series lineup is packed with some impressive tech found on their higher end devices.

For starters, Samsung’s Galaxy A-series features five new phones, three of which will have the power of 5G. This includes a 5G smartphone priced under $300. All the new 5G Galaxy A series devices deliver awe-inspiring visuals and vivid colors on edge-to-edge displays. They’ll also have impressive camera features such as being able to take 4K video, 4K snaps, Scene Optimizer, and AR Lenses. Not only that, but they’ll also support the expandable store with microSD support up to 1TB.

GALAXY A52 5G

The Galaxy A52 5G is at the top of the A-series food chain. It features a quad-camera system with 64MP and OIS. It also has a 6.5″ FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Galaxy A52 5G will be available starting at $499.99. It features 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

GALAXY A42 5G

The Galaxy S42 5G is the second 5G phone in the lineup with slightly different specs. This one has a 48MP triple camera system with Super Steady and Single Take. The display is a 6.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display at a 60Hz refresh rate. Galaxy A42 5G features 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It will be available starting at $399.99.

GALAXY A32 5G

The Galaxy A32 5G will be Samsung’s most affordable 5G phone ever. It will have a 48MP main camera as well as a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display. Galaxy A32 5G will be available starting at $279.99. It features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.

Galaxy A12 and A02s

Rounding out the release lineup are the Galaxy A12 and A02s. These are basically just inexpensive, essential phones that keep you connected with friends and family. The specs aren’t really anything that exciting and will retail for $179.99 and $109.99 respectively. The Galaxy A12 features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, while the Galaxy A02s includes 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. Both the Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s support expandable memory.

The Galaxy A42 5G will be available starting April 8, while the A52 5G, A32 5G, and A12 will be available starting April 9. The Galaxy S02s will be available starting April 29. All will come with a two-month trial of YouTube Premium[13] available through the YouTube app, as well as a six-month trial of SiriusXM Streaming, redeemable in the Samsung Members app.
