November is beginning to wind down, so gamers are taking a peak at what the future holds. There are some amazing games coming out for Xbox One in December. Whether you own an Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, or other gaming console, most games will work across all of these platforms. Take a look at these three games that could be a must buy, Christmas gift, or Black Friday treat.

No. 1: Cyberpunk 2077

The release date for this game is scheduled for December 10th. CD Projekt Red has distributed plenty of teaser trailers for this game. Night City is an American megacity in North California, controlled by corporations of both country and state. The city is reliant on robotics for everyday aspects of life, while the Internet is controlled by corporations and the army.

The west-coast based game sees conflict between rampant gang wars, far away from the east coast and nightlife of the 888 Casino NJ. Homelessness does not preclude cybernetic modification for the poor, which gives rise to addiction and violence. The threats are dealt with by the “Psycho Squad,” while the “Trauma Team” is employed for medical services. Because there is a constant threat of physical harm, all citizens have access and ability to open fire. The best comparison to this game is Tom Clancy’s The Division.

No. 2: Immortals Fenyx Rising

Immortals Fenyx Rising allows players to play as Fenyx, who is a winged demigod that is trying to save the Greek gods from dangerous mythological creatures. The game will be released on December 3rd. This game is played in an open world that is divided among seven regions with seven different gods. Players will play their way to defend the gods with a chance to defeat Typhon, the deadliest Titan in Greek mythology.

Fenyx is a stranded Greek soldier on the Golden Isle that must rescue the Greek Gods from Typhon. After being banished by Zeus and the Greek Gods, Typhon has sought revenge on all of the kingdom. The main narrator is Prometheus, while Zeus makes cameo appearances as well. For those who were fans of classics such as God of War, this game is the mainstream play and should bring plenty of new challenges.

No. 3: Puyo Puyo Tetris 2

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is set to be released on December 8th and comes with six game modes. This game features competitive puzzle games that can be played solo or against two to four players. One feature is the “Skill Battle,” which brings character skills and Item Cards.

There is also a story adventure mode where the player can traverse an overworld and engage in Skill Battles with other characters in the story. The story acts like a JRPG. The online community is said to be improved from the first game, which allows more competition across leagues, as well as free play. For the consistent puzzle completer, this is the game that should be on your radar.
