Back in 2018, we first checked out the Polaris Slingshot SLR for our This Week In The Drive segment, and that kicked off quite the change for me personally. I assumed that because you sat down in it and it had a wheel that I could just drive it with my regular license. However, in New York State, you needed to have an M class on your license or motorcycle class.
Because of this first Slingshot review, some 2 years later, I’m an avid motorcycle enthusiast and have been riding my own motorcycle for the last 2 years. Polaris reached out and asked if we wanted to check out the new 2020 model and since the first was life-changing for me, I was excited to get back in and see what’s new!
