Logitech has made it much cheaper for those who want to get into streaming. Everyone is doing it now on some level. YouTube is flush with folks making their own videos and streaming all sorts of content.
Logitech has always had a wide variety of really good cameras for all webcam needs and it just got a little better with the new Logi StreamCam. Yes, if you look at it, it’s just another webcam but there are some differences with the StreamCam that make it unique. Logitech’s new updated “Capture” software adds to the experience that you’ll get with the StreamCam and will ensure that you get the high quality stream you’re looking for.

Logitech’s C920 is for the most part the camera of choice for streamers because of it’s price and some decent features rolled into a nice package. The big problem with the C920 is in it’s limited ability when mounting it to your monitor. You might find yourself having to use the tripod that comes with it than having to mount it with kind of defeats the purpose of having it. Where the Streamcam is different is that not only is it easy to mount but you can change how it records. You can record in standard landscape and also in portrait mode for Instagram, Snapchat or anything related to mobile video.
The Streamcam records in Full HD up to 60fps with an f/2.0 lens. The Capture software gives you a number of new options with text overlay, scene effects, watermarking and a new dark mode just to name a few things.
I haven’t put the Streamcam through it’s paces as of yet and once I do and really get a full experience with this new camera I’ll put forth the review. If you’re already excited and you just can’t wait or don’t care for a review and you just want the new Streamcam. You can pick it up on Logitech’s website HERE for $169.99. You can get it in either black or white and it’ll mount nicely on your monitor and you’ll be streaming in no time with it’s easy setup.
