So in my smart home I have a mix of cameras inside and out from reviewing various products. On the outside I use Ring’s various floodlights and spotlights, and I love them. On the inside I have a couple Nest cameras and those work well. However I’m all about consolidating how many smart home apps I need to go for my phone. With Ring I can’t go all in because Amazon brought them and I’m a Google Assistant house. For Google I am technically all in but they don’t have a good set of “floodlight/outdoor cams” that I like and I don’t really feel like buying more Nest cams. BUT a smart cam that works already with SmartThings which is the brain of my smart home is interesting!

The Samsung SmartThings Cam is offering 1080P HD Video with two way audio and night vision. Full HD, High Dynamic Range and night vision display a crisp, detailed view, day or night. Two-way audio and a built-in mic. Also multi-view where you can View up to 4 cameras at once- Easily switch between multi-views of your home on your smartphone to get a clear idea of what’s going on. Choose between portrait of landscape mode to view up to four connected cameras silmutaneously. All this and with a price noted at potentially $89.99, is something I’m definitely interested in especially if I can get it in one app!

Now along with this Samsung also unveiled a few other products as well. this was a Smart Bulb which is priced at $9.99 (making this very easier on the pockets than most smart bulbs), and a Wifi Smart Plug. We’ll definitely be looking into more, stay tuned!
