We are blazing into summer with the PlayStation Plus games for the month of June. This brings us two games and some extras for games we are already enjoying. Borderland 2 (The handsome collection) and Sonic Mania are the titles available. Borderlands 2 is one of those games you have to check out if you have never played before. Sonic has been around for some time, it’s just being introduced to a younger audience and frankly worth the download. We have extras for Fortnite, Alex Legends, Kaiser, H1Z1, Warframe, and Dauntless. This month is full of excitement with the list of items PS Plus members are getting.
Borderlands (The Handsome Collection):
This only makes sense to take players back to refresh themselves on the story and gameplay of Borderlands with an up and coming new release of Borderlands 3 this September. This game has an animation look to it with loads of details for each character. The story is interesting as you battle Handsome Jack the villain in the game. You also have the option to play 1st person multiplayer which takes things to another level. Over the years players have given Borderlands 9/10 making worth it in my opinion to go back and play it again. This comes with Borderland prequel and all the expansions and DLCs. I know I am surely going to check it out as I have never really played it before.
Sonic Mania:
Sonic The Hedgehog is an old-time game from the time when Sega Genesis was a thing. It was the game back in the day that friends competed over who could get the most coins and get the furthest. To see it come back around to the younger generation is invigorating. It takes me back to my childhood, which games like this are always fun to play. I know it is one of those games I am downloading for sure. I already have a plan to introduce my son to the actual gameplay. He has seen the cartoons but has never played the games. Especially with mania having a multiplayer mode that will allow families to play together.
