Looks like things are starting to shape up in the apps department with Spotify giving you more access on your WearOS devices than the usual Play/Pause actions. If you are a heavy user of Spotify you know about their plethora of playlists such as Discover Weekly or one of my faves Rap Caviar.

What will be most interesting is the ability to use Spotify Connect. This usually allows you to push your Spotify content to your home devices such as speakers or smart TV. A smartphone or laptop was needed but doing it from your wrist will make things easier than ever.

Spotify is teaming up with Fossil Group and starting in November the music app will be pre-installed on watch brands like Michael Kors Access Runaway and Fossil Gen 4.

As for those already with WearOS devices expect to see the update hit your wrist within the coming week.
