When Nintendo and Sega started releasing mini-retro versions of their classic systems, it was only a matter of time before Sony joined the fray. Just a few short hours ago, Sony has made it official. 25 years after its debut, the classic is 45% smaller than the original PlayStation and will come pre-loaded with 20 “genre-defining” titles, including Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, Wild Arms and more.

The PlayStation Classic will also include two controllers for local multiplayer within compatible titles, a bundled USB cable for power (AC adapter sold separately) and an HDMI cable.

Available for pre-order at select retailers, the PlayStation Classic will be available with a price tag of $99.99 USD / $129.99 CAN / €99.99 in Europe / AUD$150 in Australia (All prices MSRP).

The PlayStation Classic will be arriving in time for the Holidays on December 3rd, 2018.
