Pokémon’s 30th anniversary celebration is making its way into more gaming setups, and Razer’s latest collaboration gives fans three very different looks to choose from. Charizard and Lucario are joining the BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed lineup, while Sylveon gets its own version of the Kraken V4 X.

I’m really digging the designs; each Pokémon’s personality carries across the headset extremely well. The colors extend through the cushions and headbands, with character artwork worked into the details. There’s also a practical distinction between the models: Charizard and Lucario offer wireless connectivity, while Sylveon takes the wired route with RGB lighting.

Charizard Brings the Heat

The Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed – Charizard Edition certainly commits to its theme. Orange cushions sit against a black frame, while red flame graphics wrap around the earcups. Charizard’s outline across the headband ties the design together, and I like how the orange padding gives it some personality even when viewed from the side.

Underneath that finish are Razer’s TriForce 50 mm Drivers Gen-2 and HyperSpeed Wireless technology. Razer is positioning this as a wireless esports headset, giving players interested in competitive gaming a Pokémon-themed option within its BlackShark family. The Charizard Edition launches October 13 for $119.99 USD, available through Razer.com and Target in the United States.

Lucario Takes a Cooler Approach

Lucario’s edition uses the same BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed platform, but the blue earcups and darker padding give it a noticeably different presence. There are yellow accents inside the earcups and across the branding, with Lucario artwork running along the headband. It’s a nice interpretation of the character’s color palette without making every surface equally busy.

The headline hardware matches the Charizard model, including TriForce 50 mm Drivers Gen-2 and HyperSpeed Wireless. Choosing between these two will largely come down to which design you want on your desk. The Lucario Edition is priced at $119.99 USD and became available October 7, exclusively through Target in the United States.

Sylveon Gets the Pastel Treatment

The Razer Kraken V4 X – Sylveon Edition takes a softer approach with pink coloring, light-blue accents, and Sylveon artwork on the headband. Of the three, this feels especially suited to a setup already built around pastel accessories. The character’s colors fit the Kraken’s rounded design naturally.

This is a wired headset featuring Razer TriForce 40 mm Drivers, a retractable HyperClear Cardioid microphone, and Razer Chroma RGB lighting. At $109.99 USD, it’s also the least expensive of the three. The Sylveon Edition launches October 13, exclusively through Target in the United States.

Razer also lists retail availability for all three editions across Latin America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. For Pokémon fans putting together a themed setup, this collection offers some welcome variety, both in its character choices and the hardware behind them.
