Horde Mode, Rig Modifications,

Rig Paint Jobs, Lone Wolf Difficulty, and Even More Content Updated in

Futuristic RPG Shooter, Gunheart

SEATTLE, WA – June 29, 2018 – Drifter Entertainment, an independent Seattle-based publisher and developer, today released tons of new FREE content for Gunheart, a futuristic co-op, RPG-lite shooter which launched on June 4. Fans of the game can now experience a new horde mode, even more customization, rig mods, a new difficulty level, and additional new content on Steam for desktop PC, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Windows MR for $29.99

Executive Producer Hunter Hudspeth highlights the new content for the game in this video: https://youtu.be/oE1dSki4mUE

In Gunheart, teleportation technology has opened humanity to new worlds of opportunity across the galaxy. Now prospectors, colonists, fanatics, and adventurers have spilled into the cosmos in search of fortune and independence. In this lawless frontier, bounty hunters like you are all that stands between human progress and what menace might have been awakened in the deep beyond.

The new content for Gunheart is now live and includes:

Horde mode. Take on wave after wave of increasingly difficult enemies. To make things extra interesting we threw in some modifiers like cloaking, double damage, and others that will stack with each new wave.

Rig mods. Mods aren’t just for guns anymore! We took our ever-popular gun mod system and made a new version specifically for your rig. Now you can upgrade your robot body with increased air control, projectile slowing, AOE damage on shield break, and some other crazy stuff that gets even crazier with each new tier you unlock.

Rig paint jobs. Customization isn’t just for hats and faces anymore. Visit the Palco rig room and throw on a new coat of paint.

New movement system. We’ve completely revamped the way strafing works in Gunheart. There are now a lot more areas that can be walked on, a lot less areas where you can get stuck, and a lot more control while you’re in the air (try one of the rig mods for even more control).

PVP updates! New PVP-specific health system. Armor and shield pickups are now scattered around the PVP maps. Grab them with full health for an overshield! Weapons have also been rebalanced to make everything equally deadly and fun.

New enemy behaviors! Enemies will now spawn a little closer to you so they’ll be more likely to hunt you down instead of the other way around. Buzzkills will now eventually go crazy and dive bomb you! Ridgeback projectiles now leave behind noxious fumes so you’ll want to stay clear of those.

Lone Wolf mode. Because elite mode wasn’t hard enough for you sadists, we’ve added lone wolf mode. It only unlocks once you’ve 3-starred a mission. Enemies will be even tougher than elite mode, and you’ll be all by yourself. No friends to revive you.
