This is a huge week for Marvel. Following the trailer’s premiere at CinemaCon 2018, Sony released the second Venom trailer. Inspired by the comic series ‘The Lethal Protector’ and ‘Planet of the Symbiotes’ this new trailer explores more about the journalist Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) hunting down the story behind Dr. Carlton Drake played by Riz Ahmed (Rogue One, The Night Of). We also get to see a bit more of Jenny Slate’s as well as other potential symbiotes. Woody Harrelson reunites with Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer, and although is missing in this spot, I believe that’s on purpose as it leads more to who he may potentially be playing. My last questions still remain will Peter Parker/ Spider-man be showing up? What’s the timeline for the film? Venom hits theaters this Fall.
