Is it April already, time is flying fast. It’s that time again to take a look at the games PlayStation Plus is offering. The list is not as long as last month but still just as good. This month we have three games on the list for the PS4, whereas last month we had six games for the PS4. The games this month are below. I’ll give you my picks of what I’ll play and what I probably pass on.
Games I will Play:
Mad Max
Mad Max was a surprisingly good movie a few years back but good movies don’t always make for good video games. I’ll play it just to check it out. After all, I am a huge fan of the Mad Max films from the 80’s. Being as this game came out after the 2015 remake of Mad Max, I am left to believe that it is not based on my version of Mad Max. Again, I am curious to see if it has any similarities to the movie franchise from the 80’s. I did watch the trailer on it and I have to say I like what I see so far.
Trackmania
I am a huge fan of Hot Wheels track toy car sets and from the cover of this game, it makes me think of that. I don’t engage in race car games often, but I do give them a try when I feel like I want some fact-paced action on four wheels. Track mania’s gameplay is was just what I thought it would be. Kind of reminiscent of a Burnout game in terms of the speed, pace and crash action and it also reminds of Wipeout a little bit. It’s that fast. So, if you like some really fast paced racing action. This is a must download.
Games I’ll probably pass on:
Q-Bert Rebooted
I am sure some of you are fans of Q-Bert if you’re an 80’s baby. It’s one the great and famous arcade games of the 80’s. Does that make it worthy of play time even though it’s gotten a PS4 refresh? I’m not so sure. While Q-Bert is not one of my favorite games, plenty of people loved Q-Bert so for them this may be a worthy download. I may or may not download this one as it would just take up valuable space on my 2TB hard drive but I’m gamer so my inner nostalgic kid may just give it a shot. The look of Q-bert hasn’t changed so it’s exactly what you remember or at least expect. I’ll most likely pass on this one but I’m not mad at anyone who downloads this game.
