Earlier this year, Gal Gadot made her first appearance as Diana Price / Wonder Woman in the DC Comics Extended Universe film, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. She became a fan favorite almost instantly. At this year’s San Diego Comic Con, fans went into a frenzy with not one, but two new appearances; the first Wonder Woman feature film trailer and the first Justice League trailer. With both films making arrivals in 2017, there’s no surprise that the hype machine kicks off now. The film dives into the comic roots of the character’s history. Diana, princess of the Amazons, raised on the sheltered island of Themyscira groomed to become an unconquerable warrior; Until a crash landing of WW1 American pilot changes things. For those who saw Dawn of Justice, we’ll finally get to see the source of that mysterious photo.
Wonder Woman makes her solo feature debut June 2nd, 2017.
