Guardians of the Galaxy [Trailer Review]

GOTG poster 1

Summer blockbusters are coming and so far we’ve started off pretty good with Godzilla. X-Men: Days of Future Past is coming up and I’m sure that Marvel will not let us down with that one. Guardians of the Galaxy will be the next up to make it’s big screen debut and from what the trailers are showing it looks as if it’s going to be an amazing movie.

Guardians of the Galaxy has a great cast that play a unique set of characters. Chris Pratt stars as Peter Quill aka Star-Lord, Drax the Destroyer played by Dave Bautista of the WWE, Rocket Raccoon with voiceover by Bradley Cooper, Groot with voiceover by Vin Diesel and finally Zoe Saldana as Gamora. This movie has more of a full Sci-Fi vibe as opposed to previous Marvel movies which had much more of a human element. This movie takes place totally in space back and forth throughout galaxies. This movie seems to be a chapter in a series of movies all hopefully leading up to the Infinity Gaunlet and a showdown with Thanos especially considering the teaser we got after the first Avengers movie

Plot

The plot centers around Chris Pratt’s (Star-Lord) character and a mysterious orb that he stole not knowing what it is and also not knowing that it’s highly sought after by an evil warlord Ronan. This mysterious orb is so sought after that Ronan has put a bounty on Chris Pratt’s head forcing him to band together with the other characters that ultimately make up the Guardians of the Galaxy. Once the true of the meaning and power of the mysterious orb is revealed it becomes a fight for their lives and those of the galaxy as the Guardians evade the many enemies they encounter throughout the galaxy as well as a final showdown with Ronan. Check out the trailer below of this great movie. Don’t miss out
