Kendrick Lamar’s “Poetic Justice” Feat. Drake [Music Video]

Along with getting heavy radio rotation Kendrick Lamar drops the visual of “Poetic Justice” featuring Drake. Of course it opens on Crenshaw in hang out mode on the strip giving you that Boyz ‘N Da Hood/Poetic Justice feel. The video actually tells a vivid story over 5 minutes and 28 seconds of a new boy meets girl, girl has a semi former lover, new boy has an enemy from the streets bent on revenge in one scenario. The Drake verse was cleverly inserted and shot as he phoned in(Not too much different from how collabos are done these days) a missed call leaving a voice mail after the love fatality. This is a very movie-like music video. Looks like the video started shooting in LA which almost had me until I saw a Hunter Ambulance pull up to pick up the casualties that let me know it finished in NYC lol (And the exclamation point was the (718) phone number on the side of ambulance lol). The end result is a great piece of work.
