I have to be honest, I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve been rockin’ my Sony Sport In-Ear for a while when working out and didn’t think any thing else could compare. But low and behold Bose slides into the competitive exercising earphone arena with a strong arm steady approach.

Style

At first glance I’m thinking no way these earphones wouldn’t stay in ear without wrapping around your ear but then (In Richard Dawson or Steve Harvey’s voice on The Family Feud) “Survey Says…..Eh-antttttt” I was wrong they don’t move the StayHear® ear tips which comes in 3 different sizes (S, M, L). They remain even in the most strenuous workout. They truly back their claim of sweat-and-weather resistance by using hydrophobic acoustic cloth for workouts both indoors and out. The Bose SIE2s come with an extended cord if you need more length, they have an inline mic and remote for music and calls with Apple iPhone®/iPod®/iPad® to easily switch between music and taking calls.

Sound and Quality

Even with the additions, Bose doesn’t sacrifice its world renowned quality of sound. Of course it continues the Bose tradition of tonally based sound with immaculate crisp highs and deep low notes. Bose infused headphone technology with TriPort® producing wide-range sound, including the deep and natural lows. As a bonus Bose has teamed up with Reebok to include free an armband that is a perfect complement to your iPhone®/iPod®, most smartphones and MP3 players. The Reebok Fitness Armband also stores headphones when not in use and includes a separate pocket for keys. The fabric is breathable with a touch sensitive window to control your device.

The Verdict

Hey I have to say that I’m sold on this small technology of exercise and fitness heaven. An added bonus for that fashion conscious training participant, they come in orange and green (In Martin Lawrence’s voice)”So get ta steppin’!”
