If for some reason, the Gmail implementation on your iOS device isn’t sufficient enough and you need more advanced features, Google has now released an official Gmail app into the App Store.

I was content with using Gmail through the mail app, but after reading what the Gmail app has to offer, I may have to try using this instead. It has a lot of the more advanced features like threaded messages, labeling, organization, and more. Judging by the screenshots alone, it really does look like this will supercharge the way you use Gmail on the iPhone/iPad.

*Update – I just realized that this app only allows 1 account at a time. Power users may not like this, especially those who have more than 1 Gmail account like I do.

*Update #2 – And just like that, the app has been pulled from the App Store due to bugs I’m assuming.
