It has definitely been a long time since we have done a album review here at G Style Magazine. This is due to the fact that our writer who use to do the music review passed away earlier this year. And as always we wanted to get a shout out and a BIG R.I.P. to our Big Homie Q! Though we can never replace him, we felt the need to get back in there with the music reviews. And a much fitting album selection since we are still feeling the loss of our good friend!

This album by Kanye West is completely phenomenal! As always Kanye’s production is some of the best, he is a top notch producer and there is no exception on this album. All tracks on this phenomenal album is produced by Kanye with some co-productions from the likes of Jeff Bhasker, Plain Pat, No I.D, and Mr. Hudson. As I said this album is great! It invokes a sense of Heartbreak Kanye could have been experiencing after the lost of his mother. The overall tone of the this album feels of Hearbreak & Heartache. I can truly connect with this album after the lost of my good friend and business partner Sequain.

On tracks like “Say You Will”, Welcome to the Heartbreak”, “Heartless”, and “Streetlights”, you can really feel the emotion in the tracks and I think is some of Kanye’s best work ever! With production at the best, the tracks full of emotion and soul, this new direction Kanye has taken with his music is something we fully support here at G Style Magazine! Every artist has to keep reinventing himself to stay new, fresh, full of life. In our opinion has done this and it makes for one of the best Kanye works he has ever done!

You can pick up this album now from many retailers including Amazon.com for $9.99, though price may vary. Overall we give this album a 5 out of 5.
