Just when we thought the end of wired headphones was near, Bose is taking it back with their newest Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds. Interestingly enough, while some have been cutting the cord there are those that are still attached.
We are seeing wired earbuds in a modern form thanks to Bose and here are the features:
- USB-C powered ANC: Bose QuietControl technology delivers Quiet, Aware and ANC-Off Modes, powered directly through the connected device with no battery or charging required
- Plug it in and press play: the earbuds’ USB-C compatibility provides instant connection to source devices with no pairing, app or charging required. You plug it in, and it works!
- Lossless wired audio: using the USB Audio Class 2 protocol, the earbuds play back audio at 24bit/48kHz, along with low-latency performance that keeps audio closely in sync
- Easy controls: an in-line remote puts volume, playback, calls and noise cancellation modes within easy reach, with a dedicated microphone for clear voice pickup
- Designed to wear: listeners can mix and match eartip and stability wing sizes to find a fit that feels both comfortable and secure
They will be available for $99 with three colors of Black , White Smoke, and Dewdrop Mint on October 15th. Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbud are rated IPX4 for water resistance and come with a zippered carry case for storage and protection. Pre-orders start today.
