Wireless charging has reached a point where simply being convenient isn’t enough anymore. Qi2 has improved magnetic alignment, charging speeds continue to increase, and there are countless stands capable of charging multiple devices simultaneously. If you’re going to spend premium money on another 3-in-1 charging station, there needs to be something that separates it from everything else. UGREEN’s MagFlow Pro attempts to do exactly that with up to 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging on compatible devices, a real-time information display, and most importantly, an active thermoelectric cooling system behind the magnetic charging surface.

I’ve been using the MagFlow Pro for a couple of weeks now, primarily with my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, and I’ve generally come away impressed. While the complete 3-in-1 design is clearly focused on Apple’s ecosystem, its core wireless charging functionality isn’t exclusive to iPhone owners. More importantly, the active cooling isn’t simply a marketing gimmick. Heat has always been one of the compromises of wireless charging, especially as manufacturers continue pushing more power through it, and UGREEN has built a product that attempts to directly address that problem.

Monolithic Style

UGREEN has been steadily improving the presentation of its products, and the MagFlow Pro feels appropriately premium once it’s sitting on a desk. The silver design is clean and understated, while the base has enough weight that attaching or removing a phone doesn’t send the entire stand moving around. The magnetic charging surface sits on an adjustable arm that can move from essentially flat to a 90-degree viewing position. With the proper magnetic setup, my Galaxy S24 Ultra connected securely and could be positioned vertically or horizontally without any concern about it separating from the stand.

Below the phone is a secondary wireless charging area for compatible earbuds alongside the dedicated Apple Watch charger. This is where its Apple-focused design becomes more apparent, as an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods combination will take full advantage of everything the MagFlow Pro offers. UGREEN also includes the required 45W USB-C adapter and cable, which I appreciate. The small front display provides charging information including power, device status, and temperature. I like having this information available, although the display itself could be larger and positioned at a better viewing angle. It’s easy enough to read while sitting at my desk, but it doesn’t feel fully realized yet.

A Cooling Agent for Smartphones

The MagFlow Pro supports Qi2.2 with up to 25W magnetic wireless charging on compatible hardware, although actual charging performance depends on the device being used. The station can handle three devices simultaneously and includes the 45W power supply necessary to operate its charging hardware, display, cooling system, and additional charging areas. It can even alert you when insufficient input power is being supplied, which is a small but thoughtful addition.

The standout specification, however, is UGREEN’s CryoPulse TEC active cooling system. Instead of relying solely on passive heat dissipation, it combines thermoelectric cooling with a small fan behind the magnetic charging surface. Wireless charging naturally produces heat, and higher temperatures can eventually cause smartphones to reduce charging power to protect their battery and internal components. UGREEN’s approach is essentially to attack that thermal problem directly rather than simply advertising a higher peak charging number. The cooling can also be controlled independently, giving you some flexibility when maximum cooling isn’t necessary.

Exceptional Multifaceted Design

After using the MagFlow Pro with my Galaxy S24 Ultra for a couple of weeks, the cooling system is ultimately what makes this charger stand out.

The phone gets cold. Not simply “less warm than usual” cold, either. You can physically feel the difference at the charging surface and on the back of the phone. I’ve used plenty of wireless chargers where I pick up my device after an extended charging session and immediately notice the heat coming from it. We’ve largely accepted that as part of wireless charging because convenience has traditionally been the priority. With the MagFlow Pro, UGREEN is actively trying to manage that heat rather than simply accepting it as a side effect.

That’s why I find the cooling technology more interesting than the 25W specification itself. Wireless charging speeds will continue improving, and more products will inevitably reach these numbers. Being able to better manage the heat created in the process is what gives the MagFlow Pro its identity. My S24 Ultra mounted consistently with the proper magnetic setup, charging was effortless, and the adjustable stand made it equally useful as a place to keep my phone visible throughout the day. The display complements the experience by giving me some visibility into what the charger is doing rather than leaving everything hidden.

There are still areas UGREEN can improve. The display is useful but could be larger and easier to read, and the premium price makes this excessive for anyone who simply needs a basic wireless charger. Android users should also understand that while the primary charging surface works perfectly well with compatible hardware, the complete three-device configuration clearly favors Apple’s ecosystem. Still, my experience with the Galaxy S24 Ultra shows that the MagFlow Pro’s appeal doesn’t begin and end with the iPhone. The build quality is strong, the included 45W adapter is appreciated, and the TEC cooling system gives it something meaningful that separates it from the growing number of wireless chargers competing for space on your desk.

REVIEW SCORE: 8/10

UGREEN isn’t reinventing wireless charging here. Instead, it’s addressing one of the technology’s most persistent weaknesses in a way that I can actually notice during everyday use. Improve the display and bring the price down a little, and the next iteration could be exceptional. As it stands, the MagFlow Pro is still a very good premium charging station and one I’ve enjoyed keeping on my desk.
