For the current iteration, Samsung has streamlined its clamshell portfolio to a single device, the Galaxy Z Flip8, while expanding the Z Fold series to include two distinct form factors. The Galaxy Z Fold8 offers a more compact and pocketable design, featuring a 7.6-inch internal display and a 5.5-inch external screen. Conversely, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is engineered for maximum productivity, incorporating an 8-inch unfolded display alongside a 6.5-inch folded display. Both models are powered by the advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor.
Similarly, the Galaxy Z Flip8 utilizes the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset. This device is equipped with a 6.9-inch main display and a 4.1-inch cover display.
Each of these new models introduces Samsung’s proprietary Flex Titanium technology, which enables a thinner profile without compromising structural integrity. Notably, the implementation of this technology has effectively eliminated the visible display crease on both the Galaxy Z Fold8 and the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.
Retail pricing for the lineup establishes the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 at a base price of $1,899, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra at $2,099, and the Galaxy Z Flip8 at $1,199.
