Over the past several weeks, I’ve been using the STM ChargeTree Go with a wide variety of devices across both ecosystems. My daily carry rotates between iPhones, Android phones, Apple Watches, Galaxy Buds, and AirPods, making multi-device charging a constant part of my routine. Portable charging stations have become increasingly common, but very few manage to balance portability, functionality, and desk friendliness in a way that feels practical.
The STM ChargeTree Go aims to solve that problem with a compact 3-in-1 design built specifically for travel. After living with it at home, on my desk, and while traveling, I came away impressed by its convenience, though there are some tradeoffs worth discussing.
Build Quality
The first thing that stands out about the ChargeTree Go is its size. Folded up, it is surprisingly compact and easily slips into a backpack, sling bag, or laptop compartment. STM includes a carrying pouch in the box, which adds to its travel-first philosophy. The build quality is solid overall. The combination of plastic construction and soft-touch silicone surfaces gives the charger a clean appearance while helping keep devices in place. The folding hinge feels secure during everyday use, and I never worried about it collapsing while charging.

I particularly enjoyed the retractable Apple Watch arm. It allows the watch to sit in Nightstand Mode, turning it into a bedside clock during overnight charging. The small footprint also keeps clutter to a minimum, especially in hotel rooms or on crowded desks. That said, there are some compromises. The Apple Watch charging magnet can occasionally feel weaker than I would prefer, particularly with heavier watch bands attached. I also noticed that charging alignment requires a bit more care compared to magnetic charging systems like MagSafe or Qi2 solutions.
The STM ChargeTree Go is a Qi-certified 3-in-1 wireless charging station designed to charge a phone, earbuds, and smartwatch simultaneously.

During testing, I used the ChargeTree Go with multiple iPhones, Samsung Galaxy devices, AirPods, Galaxy Buds, and several Apple Watch models. Charging reliability was generally good, especially for overnight use. The ability to replace three separate chargers with a single cable made travel significantly easier. Where the ChargeTree Go shows its limitations is charging speed. Users expecting modern Qi2 or MagSafe-level performance may find it slower than newer premium charging solutions. The lack of an included wall adapter also feels like a missed opportunity given the product’s price point.
Despite those drawbacks, its greatest strength remains convenience. Whether on a nightstand, office desk, or hotel room, it delivers a clean charging setup that simply reduces clutter.

Review Score: 7.5/10
The STM ChargeTree Go succeeds as a highly portable charging companion that works across multiple devices and ecosystems. Its compact design, travel-ready form factor, and ability to charge three devices simultaneously make it easy to recommend for frequent travelers. Slower charging speeds, the absence of a bundled power brick, and a somewhat weak Apple Watch magnetic hold prevent it from reaching the upper tier of wireless chargers. Users who prioritize maximum charging speed may want to look toward newer Qi2 alternatives.
