HooRii announced it will launch its Kickstarter campaign for ClawStage on Sunday, March 15, positioning the product as a fully integrated, ready-to-run embodied AI device built for creators, educators, developers, and tech enthusiasts. The campaign is targeting up to $1 million in crowdfunding commitments.

ClawStage is described as HooRii’s next step in bringing AI into the physical world through a “avatar-in-a-box” concept. The idea is simple: users can give AI a 3D physical presence in virtually any form they want to create, powered by expressive motion, environmental sensing, and an integrated display system—turning AI from something you only interact with on-screen into something tangible and interactive in real space.

HooRii Co-Founder Roy Chen says the ClawStage Standard Integrated Version includes a built-in Raspberry Pi module and arrives fully assembled and pre-configured inside the device. Once powered on, it’s designed to deliver a true out-of-the-box experience without requiring additional hardware. HooRii expects the Standard Integrated Version to carry a $399 MSRP. For Kickstarter supporters, the company plans a limited Super Early Backer tier priced at $279, with later tiers stepping up incrementally toward MSRP as the campaign progresses.

For more technical users, HooRii will also offer a Developer Hardware Edition with an MSRP of $219. This version includes the full ClawStage hardware platform—display, motion system, and environmental sensing—while leaving the computing setup to the user. Chen emphasizes that the developer edition is meant specifically for advanced builders and won’t be marketed as a mainstream alternative, with the goal of keeping ClawStage clearly understood as a complete embodied AI product rather than a modular kit with multiple configurations.

HooRii says Kickstarter funds will be used to support production tooling and manufacturing scale-up, firmware and AI interaction refinement, reliability testing and quality validation, software ecosystem integration, and community development with continued feature expansion. Chen’s stated objective is moving from a validated pre-production build into stable, scalable commercial manufacturing, while simultaneously pushing the software toward a more mature first-generation experience ahead of broader retail availability later this year.

Kickstarter backers will receive campaign-specific perks including Super Early Backer pricing (where available), priority delivery ahead of retail launch, Founders Edition recognition, and early access to updates and select feature previews. Chen frames ClawStage as a platform for interactive AI experiences—ranging from creative experimentation and educational exploration to next-generation human-machine interface development—and adds that crowdfunding support is a key part of building both the product and its community ecosystem.

HooRii says interested supporters can follow the company’s official Kickstarter page to be notified when the campaign goes live.
