Embark Studios is throwing open the floodgates this weekend as ARC Raiders begins its long-awaited Server Slam, running from October 17th through October 19th. This is the final large-scale test before the full release on October 30th, and it’s designed to push the game’s online systems to their absolute limits.
The Calm Before the Launch
At around 4:30 AM local time, servers began rolling out across all platforms, marking the start of Embark’s biggest technical rehearsal yet. Players who participated in Tech Test 2 are getting first dibs as the system staggers entry across regions. Steam veterans are already spotting updates for the “ARC Raiders – Playtest,” while newcomers may need to search for the build manually or wait for their access batch to unlock.
PlayStation 5 users are also seeing the “ARC Raiders Server Slam” appear in their libraries depending on region, and Epic Games Store players have reported downloads going live early this morning. Xbox users will have to hold a bit longer, as Microsoft’s servers are typically the last to go live—but Embark confirmed rollout is already underway.
What You Can Expect This Weekend
This stress test isn’t about showing off everything; it’s about putting the core of ARC Raiders under pressure. Players are gaining access to the Dam Battlegrounds, a massive arena designed for both exploration and skirmishes, alongside a selection of early-game quests and trader missions.
