It’s been the year of the super thin phones as we have seen from Samsung and just most recent Apple. But Infinix isn’t one too shy away from competing against these heavyweights with its own slim smartphone. That is where the Hot 60 Pro+ comes into frame. It even garnered a Guinness World Record for being the World’s Thinnest Curved Display Smartphone. What else does it have up its thin sleeve?
Style
Hot 60 Pro+ shows off a colorful array of colors. Infinix has been known for making colors you love to see on phones, and these are just as eye popping. It comes in six choices such as Sleek Black, Titanium Silver, Coral Tides, Misty Violet, Sonic Yellow, Moco Cyber Green. Infinix was nice enough to provide us with Sonic Yellow. It is vibrant and has a pattern that reflects depending on how you angle the device. Talking about angles, the Hot 60 Pro+ is only 5.95mm thick. Also, it only weighs 155g making it lighter than even the S25 Edge(162g) and iPhone Air(165g). Its unibody curved body reminds me of the earlier days of the Galaxy S6 Edge days.

Its aerospace aluminum is so thin but manages to have some buttons. Right side features volume toggle and power button while the left is empty. The phone itself does feel nice in the hand and easy to grip. Its easy to slide in and out the pocket and leaves little bulk.

Included with the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ is a 45W Charge Adapter, USB-C Cable, Phone Case, and Screen Protector.
Hardware
Hiding inside this thin body of a phone is a massive 5,160mAh battery. This is thanks in part to non-silicon battery tech Infinix has utilized. It also supports 45W fast charging. Hot 60 Pro+ is being powered by a MediaTek Helio G200 which helps it achieve its thinness. But this only has a 4G modem so no 5G coverage. So, I was able to pop up in my T-Mobile sim here in the states but only achieved decent 4G speeds. There are two configurations of 128GB / 8GB RAM and 256GB / 8GB RAM with us using the latter.
I did try some gaming on this device. Call of Duty: Mobile gave me no issues keeping cool and playing with no lag as I ran around taking out foes in battle royale running on medium settings. On the other hand, Fortnite tends to usually adapt well to smartphones. It hiccupped and lagged on this device especially when situations got intense. It even took forever to join some games. Infinix has a game xboost on the device but that didn’t seem to help Fortnite.

Display

Its Guinness World Record Curved Display comes in at 6.78” and is AMOLED with 144Hz. It covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i which Infinix has it slated being double drop resistance triple scratch resistance of its predecessor Hot 50 Pro+. This screen looked nice and bright while gaming and taking in various forms of content on it like watching YouTube or catching a flick. Navigating the menus and using apps on it looked nice too. The display also has an in-display fingerprint sensor that was responsive and didn’t give problems. Pressing and unlocked things happened easily and frequently.
XOS
To match up with the vibrant colors of the phone is its OS. It is currently on XOS 15.1 aka Android 15. Easy to navigate and is full of ways to make your experience enjoyable. It has a built-in virus scanner which popped up when installing Fortnite since that’s not in the Google Play Store. There is a ton of “Infinix AI” options like translators, call assistant, writing, etc.

Cameras

This phone has a 50MP Sony IMX882 lenses. Yes, it’s not a triple camera system as it perceives itself to be. One of those is either a depth sensor or to help with autofocusing. Taking photos in various settings, the Hot 60 Pro+ seemed to adapt okay to its environment. It did get a bit overexposed in some areas and had to dial it down a bit. It didn’t do bad zooming in either. For a phone at its relatively low price point I was impressed.

Verdict

For a phone that is priced under $200, the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ isn’t a bad phone. It has a nice slim body, large display, and massive battery. It looks nice and only problem I had with it was some gaming, but it’s not really built for that. It also isnt the snappiest but if it was here in the states, it be a nice budget winner.
