So, I have been rocking with Lenovo’s Legion Go S (Steam Edition) for the past couple of weeks now and have come to find out there isn’t a ton of official case accessories for it. That’s when I started doing some digging and WaterField’s cases caught my eye. I wanted protection but nothing bulky on an already large device. This might be the solution I was looking for.
Style
For starters if you are focusing on quality WaterField is up there. This Lenovo Legion Go Magnetic case utilizes genuine full leather, so it looks and feels good. Also means it should hold up over time. It is water resistant too. They have a selection of colors to choose from, but I went for Blue. This was more so as it matched up well with the Nebula Blue finish of the Legion Go S.
Surrounding all this lovely leather is a magnetic closure that is easy to open and close. All you do is put your finger in and pull it apart and when you are done just clamp it back together. It does provide a nice secure seal to protect your device.
This case while catering for the bigger Legion Go fits its smaller sibling in just as good and has room for its power cord as well in a separate pocket. That material inside is nice and soft and should help keep your device and scratch free. There is also some cushioning that goes up against the display of the Legion Go S giving some protection.
Usage
I couldn’t wait to get my Legion Go S in this Magnetic Case and impressed how well it worked with the device. It fits snug in there, doesn’t move around and you don’t feel like it’s going to fall out adding nice security. I have been able to slip in and out of my backpack with ease or just carry it in my arm while taking a walk outside.
A nice feature about this case is you can leave your Legion Go S inside and still charge it thanks to the design of the magnetic clasps. They easily fit a wire through and remain shut at the same time.
Verdict
In the end the WaterField Magnetic Case adds some sophistication to your Lenovo Legion Go S. It has a nice classic look and distinguishes itself from the usual flashy or just at times bulky gaming cases you see out on the market. It is high quality, and you are getting your money’s worth. They also have cases for another portable handhelds as well.
