It wasnt too long ago that Adidas announced its collab with Fortnite and now its about to partner up with another huge gaming title Minecraft. A brand that spans almost 15yrs and 300 million copies is up there in terms of name recongition.
Adidas is doing a multi-year deal with Minecraft that will have it brands released phsyically such as apparel and footwear but also digitally. This means you can expect to see adidas products appear in the game in some shape or form. Its also perfect timing with “A Minecraft Movie” coming out next week.

The partnership launches with a capsule collection (April 1st) inspired by the upcoming A Minecraft Movie, transforming the film’s core narrative into bold, wearable designs. This collection is more than just apparel and footwear – it’s an invitation to step into the world of “A Minecraft Movie” and carry its energy beyond the screen.
Key design elements of the collection are:
GRAPHICS: Iconic characters from A Minecraft Movie are reimagined through mixed-media executions, including blocky prints and textured details.
ALL-OVER PRINTS: All-over patterns transport fans into the movie’s universe, drawing inspiration from its most memorable scenes, including the blue portal landscape that bridges the real world and the Overworld.
STORYTELLING GARMENTS: Designs inspired by the film’s most striking and memorable costumes, such as one protagonist’s bold 80s-inspired leather jacket, reimagined with elements from the adidas `80s archive.
The collection includes apparel and footwear, and is available in kids, junior, and adult sizing.
The adidas Originals x Minecraft collection launches globally on April 1st and will be available in select stores and online at adidas.com.
A MINECRAFT MOVIE will be in theatres in North America on April 4, 2025, and internationally beginning April 2, 2025.
