After the massive success of 2020’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 which was a remaster for the first two titles in the series, it looks like Activision is seeking to have lighting strike twice. We will be skateboarding down the pipes of nostagila with a remaster featuring Pro Skater 3 and 4 which released originally 2001 and 2002.

This version will be developed by Iron Galaxy Studios which has worked on remasters such as Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy.

I was a bit fan of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 title reminding me of the days I would play Tony Hawk on my PlayStation 1 console. 3+4 should be familar to those that jumped into the next age of consoles at the time such as Sega’s Dreamcast and Microsoft’s Xbox.

Its good to hear that they will try and retain the original soundtrack and will of course add some new tunes to these classic titles.

Looking at the comparsions of the original and remasters you can see the level of detail that was put into this. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 will be available on July 11 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X/S, and PC. Also Game Pass Ultimate customers will have access Day 1.
