Even though Christmas is around the corner, you still have a chance to get some games for yourself or loved ones to celebrate the holidays. These titles are all fun titles you can bring together and can easily be purchased and accessed via Nintendo’s Online store and other digital means.
Super Mario Party Jamboree
Mario Party games started back on the N64 and there is a good reason we are seeing its 13th iteration. Packed with over 110 minigames you can challenge offline or online with a choice of over twenty-two characters. There are plenty of boards and you can even up the difficulty or lower it for fun.
Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics
A collection that spans over 20yrs of fighting games is back to recapture old hearts and hopefully new ones. It has a total of seven different games all with the ability to play online against one another. This is something that wasn’t capable back in the day.
Sonic x Shadow Generations
This is a remaster of a classic Sonic title and the only single player selection on the list. But it will bring nostalgia to fans of the 2011 title now adding fan favorite Shadow to the mix. He’s even getting a new story for this game!
Super Mario Bros Wonder
This was a game we suggested last year but once again it’s still an overall fun title to play and if you haven’t got your hands on it yet, please do. There are a ton of levels, powerups, and it can be played solo, co-op, or heck even four players.
Mario vs Donkey Kong
Here we have a modern take on Mario trying to get DK and avoiding many obstacles along the way. It has a slew of levels offering something different every time and there is even a co-op mode where you can use Toad as your assistant. Over 130 Levels will keep you busy for a while.
NES World Championships
Speedrunning challenges can be a bit daunting but will spark up friendly competition amongst friends and family. There are 150 challenges from thirteen classic NES games. I did one over the summer and watched friends try and beat it for hours (and they eventually did). Also, we are also videos that will give you a nice guide on how to beat the challenges.
